Laredo is an authentic, family safe and friendly Latin style
bistro with a tequila bar conveniently located at 403 S. Cheyenne
Ave, within walking distance of Tulsa’s brand new BOK event
center.
Delightfully decorated with beautiful 80 year-old ornate Mexican
tile, Casa Laredo offers a wide variety
of easily affordable Latin dishes. The Casa
Laredo Special, priced at just $9.75, includes guacamole salad
with a soft or crispy taco, one enchilada, one tamale, rice and beans,
and chili con queso. This special can also be ordered with an exquisite
meatless vegetarian sauce.
Other fine and affordable menu choices, served by friendly waitresses,
include Enchiladas de la Casa, enchiladas served with delicious lean
beef topped with chili or green sauce. The platter comes with a choice
between three enchiladas (traditional cheese, beef, chicken, or a
combination) for as little as $7.50. For dessert indulge in the famous
fried 4-piece, honey-filled sopapilla platter covered with delicious
cinnamon for the low price of $3.50.
For lunch Casa Laredo’s menu
includes over 7 options for the Lunch Special, priced at just $5.75.
Offered from 11a.m.-5 p.m., it’s one of the best lunch specials

All entrees come with complimentary tortilla chips and your choice
of hot or mild salsa. For the kids the menu offers meals, for just
about $3.50, like a soft or crispy taco dinner served with rice and
beans. Casa Laredo (owned by Guillermo
Rojas, managing editor of La Semana newspaper and News Director of
Spanish Teletul Channel 51) is planning to expand the bar and grill
into a romantic late night dance club later this summer, bringing
the full Latin experience to downtown Tulsa.
Casa Laredo has been in the Rojas
family since ___ Rojas moved up from working in the kitchen, to working
as a waitress, to finally becoming owner of the successful Tulsa
restaurant. Guillermo Rojas, the current owner, is an active member
of the Tulsa Hispanic community, and known to make the best margaritas
in town. The revenues of this family business helped him put his
children through college to provide them with the education to one
day inherit the family business.
Casa Laredo is located within blocks
of the Tulsa BOK Center making it the perfect place to stop before
or after BOK events.
Casa Laredo offers opportunities
throughout the week to experience authentic Latin flavor. On Thursday
nights from 8-11 p.m. Casa Laredo hosts their “Night of Tango”,
a colorful event for beginners or experts of the sensual Argentine
dance. For those just starting, free instructors will help you get
started. Every Friday night from 10 p.m.-1:30 a.m. Casa
Laredo hosts a “Latin Party” where people gather
to mingle, sip on margaritas, dance, and listen to music.
